Introducing the Verticut-Gage
The VERTICUT-GAGE is the latest of our products for precisely setting up verticutters. It is a nice addition to our precision tool line up. This product is ideally suited for making below grade settings on a verticutter unit.
How it works
- First, the VERTICUT-GAGE™ needs to be zeroed out. Set the VERTICUT-GAGE™ on a BENCHPLATE or other suitable flat surface. Press the zero button on the face of the gage. The VERTICUT-GAGE™ is now ready to use.
- To use, set the bar on the front and rear rollers and rotate the blades against the spring loaded indicator block. When the high point is noted, that is the depth of the verticutters. Repeat this process on both sides of the unit as adjustments are made. Make depth (or height) adjustmentsas desired.

- Both above grade and below grade measurements are possible.
- Adjustment bracket for centering the indicator block.
- Gage reads toward user for easy adjusting.
- Fits most verticutter units.
Design Flexability
We tested the tool at the GCSAA Trade show in Orlando this year, on a variety of verticutters. We believe it will work on
every unit currently being manufactured. However, if there is a unit it doesn’t fit, this tool can be easily modified by a change in one or more of the three individual bar lengths that make up the tool.
